Virtual Therapist Colorado
Online Therapy in California and Colorado:
You’ve built a life that looks solid from the outside! You’re successful, responsible, capable. People rely on you, trust you, and see you as someone who has it all together.
But what they don’t see is the constant internal pressure and mental noise. The nights spent overanalyzing, re-playing every conversation and decision, the intrusive thoughts that won’t stop, the feeling of being trapped in your own mind or body.
Maybe you feel disconnected, numb, or shut down in your relationships. You might catch yourself saying things like:
“I should be fine. Nothing is really wrong.”
“I can’t let anyone see how anxious I really am.”
“I feel like I’m barely keeping it together.”
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone and you don’t have to keep doing this by yourself.
Through online therapy, you can experience trauma-informed and meaningful healing all from the comfort of your own space.
What Is Online Therapy?
Online therapy offers a safe, confidential way to receive the same depth of support you’d experience in-person without the stress of commuting, scheduling, or walking into an office.
Sessions take place via secure video platform, allowing us to connect from wherever you feel most grounded; your home, office, or even outdoors.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, trauma, or attachment wounds, online therapy provides the flexibility and safety to engage in meaningful work at your own pace.
Why My Clients Choose Online Therapy
Many of my clients are career-driven high-functioning professionals, entrepeneurs or women going through perimenopause/ menopause leaders, or entrepreneurs who thrive in fast-paced environments but struggle internally with anxiety, perfectionism, and disconnection.
Online therapy gives you the privacy, flexibility, and consistency you need to focus on healing while maintaining your full life.
It’s especially supportive if you’re experiencing:
Emotional exhaustion or burnout from constant striving
Perfectionism, overanalyzing, or fear of making mistakes
People-pleasing or difficulty expressing needs
Attachment injuries or relationship struggles
Thoughts of impending doom or fear of losing control
Panic attacks, dissociation, or feeling disconnected from your body
Complex trauma (CPTSD), betrayal trauma or workplace trauma
Anxiety tied to hormonal transitions like perimenopause or menopause
Online therapy allows you to explore and process these experiences in real time, without adding to your stress or time constraints
A Trauma-Informed Approach
I specialize in working with high-functioning adults who appear capable and successful but feel emotionally overwhelmed, burnt out or shut down inside.
My approach to online therapy integrates:
IFS therapy for trauma: Exploring and understanding your internal patterns and parts with compassion and curiosity.
EMDR therapy for CPTSD: Helping your brain and body reprocess past experiences and find emotional freedom.
Attachment healing therapy: Repairing early relationship wounds and developing secure emotional connections to build better relationships.
Embodied therapy: Reconnecting you with your body, breath, and present-moment awareness.
These modalities work together to support nervous system healing, grounded support, and authentic self-connection.
The Benefits of Online Therapy
Many clients find that online therapy deepens their healing process, not just because it’s convenient, but because it offers an added layer of comfort and safety.
You might notice:
More openness and honesty when speaking from familiar surroundings
Easier access to sessions when life is busy or unpredictable
Freedom to express emotions without fear of being “too much”
A stronger sense of continuity between therapy and daily life
Online therapy provides both flexibility and depth, ideal for career-driven professionals who want to do meaningful inner work while maintaining their daily responsibilities.
What Online Therapy Can Help With
Online therapy supports both acute stress and long-standing emotional patterns.
Common focus areas include:
Anxiety, OCD, and intrusive thoughts
Complex trauma and dissociation
Perfectionism and chronic burnout
Attachment disorder in adults and communication challenges
Fear of abandonment, self-criticism, and emotional reactivity
People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries
Feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, or disconnection
Emotional exhaustion and identity changes during perimenopause or menopause
Whatever brings you here, online therapy can help you move from survival mode to stability, from constant management to meaningful self-trust.
IFS and EMDR in Online Therapy
Two powerful, evidence-based modalities I use in online therapy are IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
IFS Therapy for Trauma
IFS helps you explore the different “parts” of yourself: the achiever, the perfectionist, the caretaker, the critic and understand why they developed. You’ll learn to connect with your Inner Self (the calm, compassionate center within you) and begin to lead your internal system with clarity and confidence.
IFS can help you:
Heal from attachment wounds and inner conflicts
Reduce anxiety, shame, and self-criticism
Move from emotional reactivity to grounded calm
Build internal trust and self-compassion
EMDR Therapy for CPTSD
EMDR helps your brain and body process stuck memories and emotions that fuel anxiety, fear, or feelings of impending doom.
This approach reduces emotional triggers and helps you feel safer, more regulated, and less reactive.
Together, these modalities promote sustainable change helping your nervous system release old survival patterns and integrate new, healthier responses.
Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
Why Online Therapy Works
If you’ve spent years managing everything yourself or just surviving, therapy might feel uncomfortable or even unnecessary. But beneath the achievements and control, many career driven professionals experience:
Chronic anxiety, burnout or overwhelm
Internalized pressure to never slow down
Difficulty resting or feeling satisfied
Emotional disconnection from joy or intimacy
Online therapy helps you build a relationship with yourself that isn’t based on achievement or perfection. It offers space to slow down, reflect, and rediscover who you are beneath the pressure.
For Women in Perimenopause and Menopause
Hormonal changes can magnify anxiety, mood swings, and fear of losing control; especially for women with a history of trauma or attachment wounds.
Online therapy provides compassionate care and structure for this stage of life, helping you:
Reconnect with your body and intuition
Heal unresolved trauma that’s resurfacing
Find stability and calm amid hormonal shifts
Reclaim authenticity and confidence
This is a time of transition and transformation. Therapy offers the grounded support to move through it with clarity and grace.

FAQ’s
Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
Yes. Research shows that online therapy is equally effective for most concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and attachment issues. The key is a strong therapeutic relationship and a trauma-informed approach, both of which are central to my practice.
What if I’m not comfortable being on video?
We’ll create a plan that works for you. Some clients prefer audio-only sessions or grounding practices before beginning therapy. You don’t have to be perfect or “on” just present and willing.
Can EMDR and IFS be done online?
Yes. Both IFS therapy and EMDR therapy adapt beautifully to online formats. Many clients find that doing this work from home helps them feel safer, more relaxed, and more open to the process.
How much does it cost per session?
My rate for a 50 minute session is $250. I do offer a invoice if you would like to get reimbursed by your insurance. I also offer Thrizer as a secure payment platform for clients who wish to use out-of-network benefits or submit claims for reimbursement.
Online therapy gives you the time, flexibility, and safety to heal at your own pace.
With compassionate care and trauma-informed guidance, you can rediscover calm, connection, and authenticity.
